Situated on the Geelhoutboom Road on the rural outskirts of George, easily accessible from all main roads, Silver Lily Cheese Farm invites you on an aromatic cheese tasting adventure. Enjoy handmade Dutch style farm cheese (10 flavours), watch the interesting process of cheese making then sample some in the form of a cheese platter lunch accompanied by a glass of wine or fruit juice in the tranquil surroundings of the Outeniqua Mountains.
Silver Lily have also introduced another fun activity for the young, young at heart and mature ! Not only can you enjoy everthing about cheese but you can now participate in a round of KLOMPENGOLF on the 12 hole obstacle course in a real farm atmosphere. This is very popular in Holland. The golf club is a wooden shoe on a stick and the hole is a 5Litre bucket. Some of the balls come from Holland and are the original ones used there and as it is a farmsport, the grass is not cut like on a golf course but they do keep it reasonably short.
